Access to Benefits
This is the bill that we think has the most potential this legislative session. The bill has been percolating in the congress since we passed tax reform. There is bi-partisan support. There are elements of the legislation that specifically impact independent workers and portable benefits. Our guess is, if this moves out of the senate, it will be a part of a bigger, maybe an omnibus bill, legislative vehicle, which incorporates enough issues to ensure final passage in the house and signature by the POTUS.
